Accra hosts summit on coastal climate change

 The University of Ghana in Accra is holding a "High National Level Policy Dialogue on Coastal Climate Change Risks in Urban Areas" on 8 November.

The conference will examine policies to deal with risks of coastal climate change and to improve coastal urban management.

It is supported by the Climate Development Knowledge Network and will be attended by members of government ministries, environmental agencies, and fishing and farming organisations.

Situated in the Legon Boundary area of Accra, the University of Ghana is the oldest and largest of the 13 Ghanaian universities and higher education institutions.
