The inaugural African Football Executive summit takes place in Accra from 26-27 May. The theme of the event is 21st-century marketing, branding and leadership strategies for football on the African continent.

Organisers of the summit say that there has been an 100 per cent in advertising revenue earned at competitions in the last five years.

According to data from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), African football will earn almost US$140 million dollars in television and marketing revenue over the seven years to 2017.
