Ghana postpones international conferences

Ghana's fashion and design week postponed because of Ebola

The Ghana fashion and design week, which was scheduled from 24-26 August, has been postponed until 2015 because of the government's three-month ban on international conferences in Ghana to avoid the possible spread of the Ebola virus.

The fashion fair, in its third year, is designed to promote the country's growing fashion and design industry and is now considerded among the best in Africa. The week promotes not only creativity but also on the business skills required in the industry and the ways fashion can promote development and sustainability.

The first ever west African air expo which should have been held from 9-11 October has also been postponed for the same reasons.
