Guinness Ghana Breweries is to provide clean drinking water to over 300,000 people in 2010 as part of its a corporate social responsibility programme. The announcement by the company coincided with celebrations in Ghana to mark World Water Day on 22 March.

Guinness Ghana Breweries has already provided boreholes and water filters to needy communities in the Upper East, Upper West, Volta, Western, Central and Eastern regions under its parent company Diageo Highlands Holding BV
