The 2007 African Union for Housing Finance (AUHF) conference is to be held in Accra from 17-21 September. Roughly 150 delegates from across the continent and beyond will explore ways of generating finance for housing projects in Africa to tackle the acute shortage of accommodation, especially in rapidly growing urban areas. The conference will be accompanied by a training programme looking at how to obtain and service loans among other things. For information see the website www.ausummit-accra.org.gh/index.php
