Residents of Karen and Langata can now make use of a new guide to state-run and private facilities and services in the area. Produced by the Karen and Langata District Association (KLDA), it includes a list of emergency numbers, medical facilities, household services, clubs, hotels, restaurants and other recreational services, shops, places of worship, schools, car mechanics and financial and legal services among other things. The guide is available free to members of KLDA? and for Ksh300 to non-members and can be obtained from the KLDA office at the Langata Link business centre on Langata South Road.

KLDA is a community association that works to improve the conditions and lifestyle of people living and working in the Karen and Langata districts.
