The fifth edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi international marathon, the first of a series of four marathon races sponsored by Standard Chartered banks across the globe, will take place in the Kenyan capital on 28 October. Roughly 15,000 people from 45 countries are expected to take part in a total of four race categories: the 42 km full marathon; the 21 km half marathon; the 10 km road race; and the 3 km family fun run.
