The Maputo public transport company TPM is to take delivery of 50 new buses starting in February in a bid to improve services in and around the city. The consignment will take to 195 the number of TPM buses in circulation; of the 50 new vehicles 20 will serve local city routes and 30 routes in Maputo province.

TPM has more than doubled its fleet in recent years in an effort to meet the city
