Maputo is soon to get a new luxury hotel. The 150-room five-star Radisson Maputo Hotel will be located next to the international conference centre on the coast and will boast conference and meeting facilities for business travellers, bars, a restaurant, a fitness centre, an outdoor swimming pool and retail facilities. The hotel is owned by Mozambican company Fenix Projectos e Investimentos and operated by the international hotel group Rezidor as part of a strategy to expand its presence in Africa. It is due to open its doors to guests in the second quarter of next year.
