Registration for ring road relay now open.

Registration is now open for the annual CRBC Ring Road Relay race, which will be held on Sunday 17 September. Roughly 100 teams are expected to take part in the 12 km race starting at Kaliti in southern Addis Ababa and ending on top of the new ring road flyover at Meganagna to the east. Each person in the 12- member team runs one kilometre. Launched in June 2004 to mark the completion of the second phase of the ring road, the race is named after the main building contractor, China Road and Bridge Corporation, which is also the main sponsor of the event. Teams represent a range of organisations including international organisations, non-governmental organisations, embassies and government agencies.
