The second edition of the annual Safari International Marathon is scheduled to take place in Arusha on 18 September.

Organisers hope to attract over 1,000 participants, with contestants confirmed from the US, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Canada and Germany as well as more expected from Malawi and Zambia.

In addition to the main 21 km half-marathon event, this year features the family race, the school competition, corporate race, the wheelchair race and the new 5km children
