Second Cape Town Electronic Music Festival
The second edition of the Cape Town Electronic Music Festival (CTEMF) takes place from 15-17 February at the V&A Waterfront.
Festival organisers say they wish to build on the success of the inaugural festival last March and that this year's event will once again feature a series of development workshops and satellite events.
The three-day festival examines emerging trends in South Africa's multi-faceted electronic music scene, and explores the history of the music genre in South Africa.
Guest of honour at this year's festival is Richie Hawtin, the influential English-Canadian electronic musician and DJ, best-known for his work under the alias Plastikman.
A day pass for the festival, which takes place on the roof of Breakwater parking garage at the V&A, costs R150 while a weekend pass costs R350.
