Two freelance Swedish journalists are due in court in Addis Ababa on 18 October after being charged with terrorism on 6 September. Reporter Martin Schibbye and photographer Johan Persson were arrested on 1 July after illegally entering Ogaden, a southeastern region of Ethiopia populated mainly by ethnic Somalis and now ravaged by famine.

Ahead of the trial the journalists have the support of Sweden
