American International School

American International School, Accra was founded in 2006. The school is located at 1, Jungle Road, East Legon. It is an American curriculum Christian school offering elementary, middle, and high schooling to boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Besides being an authorized SAT exam center, the school offers an Advanced Placement (AP) program to prepare its students for college. Taking part in community service is required before students can graduate. Students graduate with a United States high school diploma and join international universities all around the world. AIS is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, it is the first American school in Ghana to get accredited by both associations.

Liberty American School

The school was established in 2012. It is a private Christian school located at 32, Liberty Road, Near CSRI Park, East Legon. It is a day and boarding school that caters to boys and girls between the age of 3-months to 18 years. It uses the American curriculum with biblical teachings to mentally stimulate and spiritually nurture its students. Students proceed to join renowned universities abroad. In 2018, more than 70%of the graduating class received academic scholarships to support them financially through school. LAS is a candidate school of the International Baccalaureate.

Galaxy International School

Galaxy International School was established in 2001. It uses both the Ghanaian and British curriculum. The school has two campuses; the preschool and primary campus is situated at East Legon while the high school has its campus at Adjiringan. It is a co-ed day and boarding school with state-of-the-art facilities, well-equipped and conducive classrooms, science labs, ICT lab, library, sickbay, soccer field, basketball and volleyball court, garden chess, and many more. Ghana International School was established in 1955. It is located at 2nd Circular Road, Cantonments. It is a day school that caters to boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. It is organized into 4 sections: Infant School (3-6 years), Junior School (7-10 years), Lower Secondary (11-13 years), Upper Secondary (14-17 years). It uses the English National Curriculum for teaching. It offers the IGSCE and Cambridge International Examinations, GIS has over 1,398 students from more than 50 countries. BIS was established in 2007. It is located at Ghana East Legon Hills, Greater Accra. It is a day and boarding that caters to boys and girls between the ages of 1 to 18 years. It offers early years, primary and secondary schooling. It uses the British curriculum, Cambridge International Examinations curriculum, it offers IGSCE and GCE. The school has proper and equipped facilities and supports fun learning through co-curricular activities like investments, swimming, charity, art and so much more.

Association of International School

Association of International School was established in 1963. The day and boarding school lies on a 5-acre piece of land located at 6 Patrice Lumumba Road, Airport residential area. It has a chapel built on campus grounds. AIS is an IB World School, students graduate with an International Baccalaureate High School Diploma. The school also runs the Advanced Placement program (AP) and the Cambridge International program. AIS provides a serene environment for learning, well- equipped facilities and a great opportunity for students to learn new languages. East Airport International School

EAIS was established in 2002. It is located at 12-14 Koriey Kofi Avenue, Accra. It offers nursery, primary, secondary schooling, and A-levels to boys and girls between the ages of 2-18. ICS, Accra was established in 2000. It has two campuses, One in Kumasi and the other at 44th Lagos Avenue, East Legon, Accra. It is a day and boarding school that caters to boys and girls between the ages of 2 to 18 years old. More than 1000 students representing over 30 nationalities have enrolled. The school has top-notch and conducive classrooms, boarding facilities, an Olympic sized swimming pool, basketball, volleyball and tennis court, a fully equipped gymnasium, sickbay, and a language room. It offers the IGSCE and A-level program for the high school level, and it uses the English national curriculum from nursery to middle school. Students move on to prestigious universities all around the world.

Lincoln Community School

Apart from the fact that Lincoln Community School is pricy, it is one of the leading schools in Africa. It was established in 1968 and is located at 126/21 Reindolf Road, Abelemkpe. It uses the American curriculum. It caters to boys and girls from preschool level through to High school. More than 730 students representing more than 60 countries have enrolled. With several accreditations to its name, it prides itself as an IB World School. Though the population of expatriates supersedes the locals, the school promotes the culture of its host country by teaching African drumming, bead making, basket weaving as well as other native crafts. Application to LCS attracts a mandatory, non-refundable fee of $200. LCS offers a full scholarship annually to two SS1 students in public or private schools across Ghana to prepare them for the IB Diploma exams.

German Swiss International

The German Swiss International School was established in 1966 by Swiss colonists in Ghana. It is located at Ring Road Central, Accra. It is a day school that offers nursery, kindergarten, primary, secondary schooling to boys and girls between the ages of 1 to 18 years old. Because it is a bilingual school, the language of instruction is German and English. It uses both the Thuringian curriculum and Cambridge International Program.
