Tourism smart card for Cape Town

Cape Town introduces iVenture City Pass.

A new tourism smart card, developed in partnership with Cape Town's tourism authorities, is now available for visitors of the city.

The iVenture City Pass highlights 60 of Cape Town's top tourist attractions, as well as several lesser known venues, and offers discounts for visitors.

The card's partners include the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Two Oceans Aquarium, Hop On Hop Off sightseeing buses, and the Cape Wheel.

The iVenture City Pass is a successful tourism concept has already been introduced in major cities around the world, including London, Barcelona, Dubai, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne and Mexico City.

The card is designed as a one-stop-shop, providing users with savings of up to 40 per cent on regular entry fees, with categories ranging from adventure activities to culture and the natural world. Available from various outlets around the city, the card can be swiped for cash-free entry or to redeem discounts and gain fast-track entry to participating venues.
