Virgin Atlantic, the private carrier owned by Sir Richard Branson, has launched a direct service between London and Accra.

Flights from London are on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing Heathrow airport at 22.30 and arriving in Accra at 04.15 the following morning. Return flights depart on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays from Kotoka International Airport at 10.15 and arrive into Heathrow at 18.00 the same day.
