The pick of South African bands will be performing in Cape Town on 6 September in the first ever music festival dedicated exclusively to raising money for Zimbabwean refugees. The line-up includes Freshlyground, The Rudimentals and the Dirty Skirts, who will perform on two outdoor stages at the Tafelberg Tavern in 6 Roodehek Terrace. The concert begins at 10.00 and tickets are R150. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Passop (People Against Suffering, Suppression, Oppression and Poverty), a Cape Town-based NGO working for refugee and immigrant rights. Tickets can be purchased from Overtone, the concert organiser.
