2006 Cape Town World Cinema Festival.

14-21 Nov 2006. Independent feature films, short films and documentaries from Africa, Asia, South America, Australia, Europe and the United States can be seen as part of the Cape Town World Cinema Festival (CTWCF). The programme includes competition sections for international and South African shorts and a number of themed sections including Imaging/Imagining Africa, Metrospectives, Auteurmotives and Secrets and Lies as well as a special festival for children. The event also incorporates the Sithengi Film & TV Market (16-18 Nov), a meeting of industry professionals and aspiring filmmakers and producers who are seeking to develop their projects.
