A Drama on the Abolition of Death Penalty

28 September 2012. This play deals with the abolition of the death penalty, which remains part of the Ghanaian Criminal Code.

This drama, presented by Amnesty International Ghana in co-operation with Amnesty International Germany, highlights its negative effects and calls for its abolition.

It is part of a three-piece series on human rights and culture: on 24 October there will be a documentary film on Forced Evictions, which will be followed by a panel discussion, and on 24 November Goethe Institut will display a photographic exhibition on Female Rights in Ghana.
