9 Aug 2005-9 Aug 2006. The Bo-Kaap museum in the heart of Cape Towns Muslim quarter hosts an exhibition on the everyday lives of Muslim women living in the Cape. Out and About Muslim Women Today comprises interviews exploring social issues and questions of identity and photographs taken either at work or at home, including many from the family albums of the women involved. The exhibition also includes a video produced by Munier Parker, a film maker living in the Bo-Kaap. Mon-Sat 09.00-16.00. Sun closed. Entry R5.00, students R3.00, children R.2.00.
