African crops and cultural festival
The festival, which takes place in a different African country each year, promotes agriculture and its heritage.
This year the theme is “eat what they produce and produce what they eat”. There is also a special emphasis on encouraging young people to understand the importance of local produce and its production.
The festival is hoping to raise $2 million to support small scale farming in Ghana and agricultural training for the young.
