4 Aug 2006. Popular Mozambican singer-songwriter and instrumentalist Chico Antonio presents his particular blend of African music styles at the French-Mozambican Cultural Centre in Maputo. The former street boy has over 25 years of experience and provided the musical accompaniment to the Italian documentary, Mozambico dove va il cinema (2002), the result of an itinerant cinema project involving film screenings for adults and children across the country. The film has been screened at the AFI festival of Los Angeles, the United Nations Association Film Festival at Stanford University, Palo Alto and the Aarhus Festuge Festival 2002 in Denmark while the soundtrack has been released on CD as The best of Chico Antonio. 20.30.
