Afro Galactica: Journey into Dance

11 February 2011. This experimental dance performance by Urbana Africa and choreographed by Kiki Cheptoo, proposes a mix of electric choreographic pieces, traditional and contemporary pieces of African dance, hip hop, Latin and Caribbean dance forms, some of which are based on the instant composition and improvisation.

On stage is a true journey into dance through the exploration of various dance cultures and traditions around the African continent and the countries that host people from the African diaspora.
