13 July 2006. Mozambican choreographer and dancer Augusto Cuvilas performs his own work El tango de la Muerte at the French-Mozambican cultural centre. Born in 1971, Cuvilas studied dance at the National School of Dance in Maputo, the National School of Arts in Cuba and the University of Paris. He worked for several years as choreographer and artistic director of the National Company of Mozambique before setting up his own dance company, Projecto Cuvilas. 20.00.
