Barazani Multicultural Night

21 March 2012. On occasion of the monthly Barazani Multicultural Night, Alliance Française hosts a series of events. The band Seven Survivor, which is very popular around the poor areas of Dar es Salaam, coastal Tanzania and the Morogoro regions, performs Mchiriku/Mnanda. The Kisauni Sanaa Group performs its popular traditional Lizombe Dance from southern Tanzania. The Fatami Group performs pieces of Slam Poetry, which focus on social issues. The Tosha Cultural Troupe prforms an show of acrobatics as well as Makonde Ngokwa, a famous traditional dance from Mtwara.

Event lasts from 19.00 to 22.00.
