27 Nov 2006. The internationally acclaimed Cape Verdian band Oriazul performs in a charity concert at the National Theatre to raise money for the victims of recent heavy flooding in East Africa. An estimated 1.8 million people have been affected by floods in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya caused by unusually heavy seasonal rains, which have destroyed crops and displaced hundreds of thousands of people from their homes.
