Blueprint Dance

The Darkroom Contemporary theatre company presents its new work Blueprint at City Hall. The work focuses on the link between theatre, dance, design and architecture and is one of the events in Cape Town's World Design Capital 2014 programme.

The work highlights the common aspects that link the architectural environment and the human body – structure, shape, balance, texture – as well as the impact the environment has on the body.

The work, which includes interaction with the public, takes place in four locations of the city hall. Choreography is by Louise Coetzer and music DJ Ebenhaezer Smal.

The Darkroom Theatre company was founded in Cape Town in 2010.
