5-24 Feb. This exhibition, entitled Breath of Consciousness II, displays a series of powerful and striking paintings and engravings on women by the Eritrean born, Nairobi-based artist Ermias Ekube. His dynamic characters are filled with emotions. Ekube, who is also a poet and sculptor, graduated at the Addis Ababa College of Fine Arts and Design in 1990. Besides Africa, he displayed his works also in Norway, Denmark, England and Italy.
