28-30 May 2010. This year the annual festival of the arts has been brought forward from its usual dates in late July/early August to capitalise on the arrival of tourists and performing artists in the region for the FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa in June and July. There will be the usual line-up of local and international bands, poetry readings, film screenings, drama, theatre, interactive workshops and an area devoted to local fair trade products and handicrafts from across the continent.
