The Cape Town art fair is back after a successful launch in 2013. This year 34 galleries are participating with a range of visual arts from the traditional to the contemporary.
There are also workshops, book signings, film screenings and the Sovereign Art Foundation for children’s rehabilitation and therapy is organising an interactive zone for children.
The fair is organised by Fiera Milano Exhibitions Africa. Three South African galleries taking part in the art fair – Brundyn+, Whatiftheworld / Gallery and SMAC Art Gallery – have been invited by MiArt to represent South Africa at the Fiera Milano International from 28-30 March this year.
The art fair coincides with the World Design Capital event Guild (28 Feb-9 March) with its exhibitions, lectures, workshops and discussion groups on design.
