Cape Town International Animation Festival

18-21 Feb. The festival, now in its fifth edition, will show some of the best international talent, including the African premiere of the children's story Stick Man animated by Cape Town's Triggerfish Animation Studios.

Triggerfish Studios is now investing with partners Disney and South Africa's department of industry and development to develop young animators and directors in Africa.

Khumba and Adventures in Zambezia are the two most famous of the Triggerfish films and over Christmas Stick Man had a run-away success on the BBC.

The festival has also organised script writing and production workshops. Screenings are at the Labia Cinema and workshops at River Club Observatory.
