5-6 Dec 2009. Get on top of the Christmas shopping at the annual crafts fair at Ngong racecourse. Since its foundation in 1976 in a garden in Langata, the event has gone from strength to strength and it is now reputedly the largest exhibitor of East Africa handicrafts in the region. On 5 Dec at 18.00 there will be carols by candlelight by the Moipei Quartet followed by karaoke and dancing till late. Besides hundreds of stalls selling all manner of arts and crafts, there will also be entertainment for the children, food stalls and a bar. Entry adults Ksh300, children Ksh100. Proceeds go to charity. 09.00-17.00.
