27 Aug - 2 Sept 2009. Known as the gateway to South Africa's finest floral region, Clanwilliam once again hosts its annual Wild Flower Show.

Situated at the foot of the Cederberg mountain range, the town presents the rarest breeds of wild plants, exclusive to this area and to Ramskop Nature Reserve.

Public awareness of the environment is being fostered through the growing of a medicinal garden which includes a comprehensive list of local flora. Also on offer are family events such as children's art competitions, hiking trips and live music performances.
