18 Sept 2007. German composer and author Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf reflects on the function of classical music in Germany and its potential for Ghana in a lecture at the Goethe-Institut. He will be accompanied by the talented young Greek pianist Ermis Theodorakis, who will play works by Beethoven, Brahms and Mahnkopf himself. The lecture and concert are part of a project aiming to set up a workshop for composers in the West African region.
