From 26 Nov 2008. Textile designers and artists Edwina Assan and Tei Huagie take part in a joint exhibition entitled “Cloth on Cloth” at the Goethe-Institut in Accra. Assan borrows heavily from nature in her designs, which are in strong colours. Huagie cuts up prints and sews the pieces onto cloth to form works of art or clothes. The exhibition will be opened by Kofi Setordji, founder of ArtHAUS, with music provided by Nii Noi Nortey. Opening 26 Nov at 19.30.
