Comedy with a Conscience

31 March 2012. This show, entitled Comedy with a Conscience, is performed by some of Cape Town’s
most talented actors. The actors: Marc
Lottering, Worcester’s Queen of Comedy, Shimmy Isaacs, Anne Hirsch,
Marianne Thamm and The Brothers Streep perform life in order to
raise funds for the Rape Crisis Cape Town organization. The award winning
cartoonist Zapiro has donated one of his cartoons, which will be auctioned on
this evening.

The Rape Crisis Cape Town Fund was founded in 1976 and fights to abolish violence against
women, especially rape. It also assists women to achieve their right to live
free from violence. It offers rape counselling, advocacy and prevention
services around South Africa.

This comedy aims to raise Event starts at 20.15.
