9 Feb. This concert is performed by Burkina Electric, an electronic music band from Burkina Faso.
The band is the first in the country to have experimented with electronic music. The three musicians and two dancers come from Burkina Faso, the Ivory Coast and Austria/USA. Based in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, and New York, their music offers a great mixture of Burkina Faso’s traditions and rhythms and contemporary electronic music.
