26 February 2011. This dance performance entitled Dance Move Urban Space tells an urban story set in Addis Ababa, performed by 20 artists choreographed by the German director Helena Waldman.

These dancers will express how the diverse impulses, rhythms and moods of this urban centre are registered by the bodies of its thousands inhabitants, which have to coexist despite their enormous differences in a constantly changing urban environment.

The dancers are Weynshet Abebe, Fikirta Adafres, Hawaryat Asef, Daniel Ashenafi, Mulu Birhan, Benyam Birhanu, Dawit Dessalegn, Mintesnot Getachew, Selam Getachew, Bedilu Isaja, Meseret Jerga, Helen Kassah, Yared Kenny, Solomon Lemma, Abdulkerim Sahlu, Abraham Tamene, Shiferau Tariku, Elias Terfe, Selamawit.

Performance starts at 19.00.
