2-16 November 2011. Goethe Institut inaugurates this edition of the East Africa Art Biennale (EASTAFAB) with an exhibition by various domestic visual artists coming from five East African countries such as Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. Its intent is to promote visual art through exhibitions and exchange of ideas.
This exhibition will be opened at Goethe Institut on 3 November at 18.30. On display will be recent paintings, sculptures, photographs, ceramics and installations among the others by Gadi Ramadhan.
These works will be contemporarily displayed at six different venues across the city, such as Goethe-Institut, Alliance Francaise, Nafasi Art Centre, La Petite Galerie and two hotels, Southern Sun and M
