EDCTP at Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge

12-14 October 2009. The Fifth EDCTP (European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership) Forum will be held at Arusha's Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge. The theme of the forum is "Fighting HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria: One World, One Partnership". According to the official statement the meeting "will focus on the outcome and progress of EDCTP funding efforts in research and capacity strengthening activities in sub-Saharan Africa... reflecting the global call for all partners and stakeholders to work together to contain and possibly rid the world the scourge of these diseases of poverty." The forum has developed into one of Africa's major conferences on poverty-related diseases (PRDs) and is held every two years.
