9 April-2 May 2010. Mixed media work by El Tayeb, who is widely considered the most talented Sudanese artist based in Nairobi. Here colourful works on paper, canvas and textiles explore the cycle of life and death, nudity and symbols of the Nubian civilisation.

Born in 1965, El Tayeb studied at the University of Khartoum, where he specialized in art and textiles design, before settling in Nairobi in 1997.

Opening 9 April at 18.00.
