Environmental Film Festival 2012

11 June 2012. On occasion of this edition of the Environmental Film Festival (EFFA), Goethe Institut hosts the screening of the German documentary movie The 4th Revolution: "Energy Autonomy" by Carl A. Fechner, released in 2010. This film focuses on current global society and its production of renewable energies.

The production of this documentary lasted four years, was made in about ten different countries and was financed by some volunteers.

It focuses on several pioneer projects, such as the one based on micro-credits by the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammed Yunus as well as the one of the Right Livelihood Award laureate Hermann Scheer.
