European Film Festival

11-15 May 2012. This edition of the European Film Festival (EFF) aims to promote European culture and movies among the Tanzanian public as well as to update the European community in Tanzania among actual issues in Europe.

On screen is a selection of movies coming from 15 European countries. This festival will take place contemporarily at Goethe-Institut, Alliance Française, the Nafasi Art Space and the British Council of Sar es Salaam. Goethe Institut screens among the others on 11 May at 20.00 the German movie Whisky with Vodka by Andreas Dresen (2008), on 12 May at 17.30 the Swedish movie Balls by Josef Fares (2010) and at 20.00 the Dutch movie Sunny Boy by Maria Peters (2011), on 13 May at 20.00 the Spanish movie Los Lunes al Sol by Fernando Léon de Aranoa (2002), on 15 May at 18.00 the Belgian movie Love belongs to Everyone by Hilde Van Mieghem (2006) and at 20.00 the Irish movie Once by John Carney (2006).
