3-16 May 2006. Thirteen countries are taking part in the fifth European film festival at the Franco-Mozambican cultural centre in Maputo. The programme includes Mike Leighs award-winning abortion drama Vera Drake (Great Britain, 2004) on 6 May and Odete by Joo Pedro Rodrigues (Portugal, 2006) on 9 May.
