15 October-10 November 2010. This exhibition, entitled Searching for Nubia, brings together the works by the Egyptian painter, musician and doctor Farid Fadel dedicated to the magnificent Nubia Monuments, since 1979 UNESCO heritage sites.

On the 50th anniversary of the UNESCO appeal to save this outstanding archeological area in Egypt, which includes Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel and the Sanctuary of Isis at Philae, Fadel presents a new series of paintings and drawings on this topic.

Thanks to an international campaign launched by UNESCO between 1960 and 1980 these monuments where saved from the consequences of the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
