Exhibition by Thom Ogonga

11 Dec -15 Jan. This exhibition, entitled Edition One, displays a limited edition of woodcut prints by the Nairobi-based visual artist Thom Ogonga.

His exclusively handmade prints are the result of six months experiments. Ogonga started his career as a painter, but he later moved to printmaking as well as photography, video and site-specific installations. His inspiration is night life and the women’s beauty, as testified by the passion for female forms. He won the second prize in the painting category at the Elysee Treaty Competition in 2006.
