21-29 Sept 2006. Work by Ethiopian artist Engdaget Legesse goes on display at the Goethe-Institut in Addis Abeba. Born in the Ethiopian capital in 1971, Legesse studied mural art before gaining experience in painting and design. His work, which draws heavily on the artistic tradition of the Ethiopian Orthodox church, has been shown in Ethiopia and abroad, including Djibouti, France, Germany and Italy. He currently lives and works in Berlin. Opening 18.00.
