Fana-Wogi 2012: Open Call for Emerging Artists

15 November 2011. The 2012 edition of Fana-Wogi, the famous Ethiopian arts festival, will be organized by the Goethe-Institut Addis Ababa and the Modern Art Museum, which are still looking for contemporary Ethiopian artists.

The eligible artists must be younger than 35 and be committed to drawing, installations, new media, painting, photography, sculpture and video as well as to the concepts of sustainability and environment. On this occasion they will be asked to find new ways of thinking and communicating about environmental issues from an Ethiopian point of view.

The deadline for this open call for artistic contributions will expire on 15 November.
