24 July 2007. Contemporary Egyptian musician Fayrouz Karawya gives a concert at the Culturewheel in Cairo. Born in the coastal city of Port Said, Karawya began her working life as a psychiatrist before discovering that her true vocation was music. Besides singing and song writing she has also worked in theatre and film and is a prolific writer. 20.30.
