30 June 2012. The Nigerian Film Corporation organizes, in cooperation with iREP, the Documentary Film Festival Goethe-Institut Nigeria, the screening of this German movie, entitled The Big Sellout, written and directed by Florian Opitz.

It tells the stories of concrete human destinies worldwide in a privatized and globalised world, which is supposed to be effective and shiny but hides many shadows.

He examines the effects of The Big Sellout, the worldwide privatization of basic public services, such as water supply, electricity, public transportation, and even public health care in South America, Asia, Africa as well as in Europe and the United States.

Event starts at 15.00.
